Sweden’s Federation of LGBTQ Students (SFQ) publish the handbook Degree Certificate with the right personal number (Examen i rätt personnummer)
Project Degree Certificate is over. Now we can release the results! The handbook “Degree Certificate with the right personal number” (Examen i rätt personnummer) is about the issuing of a new degree certificate after the degree holder has changed their legal gender. The book has been handed out to all universities and colleges in Sweden, to their degree giving institutions, student unions and other interest organisations. The report is a collection of existing routines and attitudes at universities plus suggestions for how to proceed, both from a legal standpoint and from the perspective of the individual’s best interest.
