LGBTQ-students Malmö started forming in 2015-ht and organized officially in 2016-vt. We are a part of Malmö Högskola’s studentkår and SFQ.
Mission and vision: LGBTQ-students Malmö works to improve the situation for LGBTQ+ students at Malmö University College. The local association also works to combat discrimination on grounds of sexual orientation and/or gender expression and identity.
LGBTQ-students Malmö aims to:
● create a safe and welcome environment for LGBTQ+ persons
● spread knowledge and understanding regarding LGBTQ+ issues
● create a social platform
● LGBTQ+ visibility
● The association is welcoming to all students, regardless of gender, religion, ethnicity, sexuality, different abilities, as long as they respect our values.
